Lego Men

I wrote the Lego Men song for Gabe, a young piano student. Gabe is not very excited about playing the incredibly first half of the twentieth century songs that go with most piano course books. In his case, those are the Schaumm books (which he inherited from his mother.) I wrote Lego Men to appeal to one of Gabe's main interests.

Then my wife says, "put it on the internet." Well, that would be wonderful if Blogspot would accept a PDF (or a MUS) file. Since it won't, I'll tell you that the music is simple enough for someone who has just finished a first primer book - five notes in the right hand and five in the left hand, but only two notes at a time. Here are the lyrics:
  • Little guys can turn at waist and necks: that's the Lego men.
  • Building castles out of plastic blocks: for the Lego men.
  • Monsters all around, come to tear it down (down down down).
  • They don't ever help me pick it up, lazy lazy Lego men.

If you want a copy in PDF format, email me.
